Club América Cup, the Youth Championship of the Americas, returns for its second year in San Diego!

The premier international soccer tournament takes place Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-26, 2025.

San Diego, CA., January 9, 2025— Surf Sports, the nationally leading organization in elite youth soccer tournaments, is excited to announce the next Club América Cup on May 22-26, 2025. The partnership with Club América began last year, with the inaugural event in 2024 hosting over 750 elite-level teams in San Diego for a premier international youth soccer competition. The world-renowned club recently became the three-peat champions in Liga MX for their wins in Apertura ‘23, Clausura ‘24, and Apertura ‘24.

Club América Cup, the Youth Championship of the Americas, is the only tournament bringing top teams from North, Central, and South America all to one place giving youth soccer players an experience unlike any other. The event kicks off on Thursday, May 22, with international top brackets playing as the Grupo de Campeones for Boys: the Super Group will be made up of Boys teams born 2011, 2012, and 2013; the International Group will be made up of Boys 2011 teams. The Girls Super Group bracket will be made up of 2006/2007 and 2011 teams. Additional brackets for all age groups (U19-U8) will play through Monday, May 26.

Commitments from top academies across each continent include two of the 2024 Inaugural Year Champions: Sociedad Esportiva Palmeiras (Brazil) and Club América (Mexico). Other academies joining include Chivas de Guadalajara (Mexico), Club Tijuana Xolos (Mexico), and Deportivo Saprissa (Costa Rica).

Over 15,000 young footballers and 850 teams will compete across three facilities: Surf Sports Park in Del Mar, CA, plus nearby SoCal Sports Complex and Galway Downs.
