New Thanksgiving Weekend 2026 tournament debuts in Dallas alongside expanded youth development initiative in the United States
SAN DIEGO — Surf Sports, in partnership with Club América, proudly announces the expansion of the renowned Club América Cup with the launch of Club América Cup Dallas, set to debut Thanksgiving Weekend 2026 at Dallas Soccer Park (formerly Moneygram Park). In addition, Club América has officially launched Nido USA, a new youth development platform designed to expand elite player pathways, coaching education, and club collaboration throughout the United States.
Following the continued success of Club América Cup San Diego, the new Dallas event represents a major expansion of what has become widely recognized as the “Youth Championship of the Americas.” Featuring 750 top U7–U19 youth club teams from North, Central, and South America, the event has quickly established itself as one of the premier international youth soccer tournaments in the Western Hemisphere.
“Expanding to Dallas is an exciting next step in the continued growth of the tournament and reflects the incredible momentum behind this partnership with Club América. Together, we are committed to creating world-class experiences and meaningful development opportunities for players, coaches, and clubs throughout the United States,” said Brian Enge, COO Surf Sports.
This Memorial Day Weekend marks Year 3 of Club América Cup San Diego, hosted across 3 venues including Surf Sports Park, the nation’s premier natural grass soccer facility in San Diego County, featuring newly renovated, professional-level Bermuda grass fields across the entire complex.
Elite academies competing in the international “Grupo de Campeones” brackets include Club América, Chivas de Guadalajara, Atlas, Xolos, Saprissa, Palmeiras, and the Nicaraguan Youth National Team. Inspired by one of the most iconic clubs in global soccer, the tournament continues to build on the Surf Sports mission of creating world-class opportunities and experiences for young athletes.
